Located on the the wall by the light switch is a remote that will control the shade from going up and down.

Use of Shade Controller - Making Your Shades Go Up and Down

  1. On/Off Button: This is like the power button. Press it to wake up your shade controller.

  2. Up and Down Buttons: Found a button with an up arrow and another with a down arrow? Use the up button to make your shades go up and let more light in. The down button does the opposite—it makes your shades go down so you can have more shade or privacy.

  3. Stop Button: If you change your mind and want the shades to stop moving at any point, press the stop button. It's like a pause button for your shades.

Setting Your Favorite Position

  • Favorite Position: Do you have a favorite spot where you like your shades? You can save this position so your shades remember it. Usually, you do this by holding down a certain button until the controller blinks or beeps. Check your specific instructions to see how to set this up because it can be a little different for each controller.

Tips for Using Your Controller

  • Keep It Handy: Put your controller somewhere easy to reach, so you don't have to search for it when you want to adjust your shades.

  • Battery Check: Sometimes, if your controller isn't working, it might just need new batteries. Ask an adult to help you check and replace them if needed.

  • Careful Cleaning: If your controller gets a bit dusty, just wipe it with a dry cloth. Don’t use water or sprays on it.

Safety First

  • Ask for Help: If your shades or controller aren't working right, tell an adult. Don't try to fix electrical things by yourself.

Quick Troubleshoot

  • Not Working?: If the controller doesn’t do anything, make sure it’s charged or has fresh batteries.
